John Bolin is an artist who has excelled as a singer, worship leader, songwriter, and arranger. John has performed and ministered to audiences since he was old enough to stand and is a premier soloist. He has performed over 1,300 concerts nationally and internationally; he has produced and sung on more than 25 albums. As a composer and arranger, John has written over 180 songs, with over 150 songs and arrangements being published for print. Many of John’s songs have been featured on artists’ albums, and his projects have received multiple Dove Award nominations.
As a worship leader, John has led worship for churches and conferences around the country since he was 13 years old. During his junior year of college, John was hired to be the Minister of Worship & Arts at Houston’s First Baptist Church. After serving in this position for 12 years, John accepted the position of Pastor of Worship Ministries at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, where he currently serves.
John has taught at numerous universities, training up worship leaders. He is also the Conductor for the University Choir and Orchestra of California Baptist University. This 150-member student ensemble is a premier musical group that ministers to churches and conferences all over the country.
In 2019, he started a musical and missional travel organization called Worship Convergence International (worshipconvergence.com) that facilitates discipleship travel for choirs, orchestras, and worship teams to serve in ministry and missions around the world. Through this ministry and other missional endeavors, John has personally taken over 1,500 individuals on mission trips around the world.
John is viewed as a leading voice for worship leaders, worship ministries, choirs and orchestras, multigenerational worship, and family worship. He has hosted and taught at numerous conferences all over the world, and his blogs and articles have been featured in multiple worship magazines and online platforms. His love and passion for the local church is foundational as he continues to lead congregations in worship on a weekly basis.
John and his wife Paige have 5 children: Grace, Hudson, John Luke, Levi, and Ellie.
